Individual Therapy

For Seekers on a path of Healing & Growth

Therapy can be life-changing at any time. It can be a lifeline in the wake of trauma, grief and betrayal. It can help when we are struggling to find meaning and purpose, or when we are confronted with big life changes and find ourselves in need of guidance.

Therapy can also help us to increase self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-compassion. It offers us an opportunity to visit our darkest places in the presence of a compassionate, non-judgemental witness. Through reflection and introspection we gain insight into the patterns that no longer serve us, and can begin to create healthier behaviours, relationships and beliefs.

Individual Psychotherapy Sessions are offered in multiple formats to ensure there is a choice that works for you: In person appointments in Newcastle, online and telephone appointments from the comfort of your own home, or nature therapy in the beautiful outdoors.

Therapy can help you:

  • Navigate major life transitions (such as having a child, moving cities, new job, perimenopause and menopause, retirement etc.)

  • Change the way you feel and think about yourself and others

  • Grieve the loss of a loved one through death, separation or a breakup

  • Explore challenges arising from a history of abuse or trauma

  • Reclaim your voice and learn to communicate your emotions, needs and boundaries in relationships

  • Reconnect with the deep inner wisdom of your body

  • Navigate chronic illness or impairment

  • Feel more content with your current life

  • Learn new ways to respond to emotions such as fear, shame, anger, and overwhelm

  • Cope with anxiety, panic and stress

  • Find meaning in depression & disillusion

  • Identify unhelpful patterns that are preventing you living the life you dream

  • Show up differently in your relationships, life and work

Nature / Ecotherapy

Combining Psychotherapy, Movement & Nature

While traditional psychotherapy helps you deepen the quality of your relationships with yourself and others, ecotherapy goes a step further by reminding us that we are a part of ecosystems, and fosters our connection to the natural world as a cornerstone of our health and wellbeing.

Being outdoors integrates individual psychotherapy, movement and nature, and can offer a fresh, grounding perspective on the healing process. You may find that this approach helps you to process your emotions and thoughts more effectively, develop greater insights into your experiences, enhance presence and mental clarity, and deepen your care for yourself, others, and our environment.

Sessions will take place at a natural setting in Newcastle, which will be collaboratively determined based on your unique needs. This could be hiking a local trail, walking beside the ocean at one of our stunning beaches, or sitting together in reflection under the shade of a tree in a beautiful garden.

Benefits of Nature / Ecotherapy:

  • Harnessing the healing power of movement to regulate stress, ease anxiety and depression, and support trauma recovery

  • Engaging both sides of the brain through natural movement, helping you process emotions and thoughts with greater clarity

  • Gaining fresh insight and perspective through meaningful connection with the natural world

  • Feeling more grounded, both emotionally and physically, as you reconnect with your body and surroundings

  • Finding moments of calm and inner peace in nature, even amidst the demands of daily life, with therapeutic support

  • Building a lasting, nourishing relationship with nearby natural spaces that can support your well-being long after the session ends

  • Reconnecting with natural light cycles, which helps regulate your circadian rhythm, mood, and energy

  • Benefiting from the Earth's natural electromagnetic fields to calm the nervous system, reduce inflammation, and restore balance
